a trip to kijal was an exciting event. my big family hasn't had a family holiday for a long time and so everybody was really looking forward to it.

mak, being a supercook, woke up as early as 4 am preparing nasi lemak. my brothers and I went back to kampung the night before cos we planned to go to kijal together.
at 6 am, everybody woke up including alif. soon, everyboday has breakfast and started loading luggage. by 10 am, we started our journey.

it was a weekday (friday) so the traffic was smooth. about 3 hours later, we reached awana kijal apartments. rented out 2 units 3-room apt and 1 unit 2-room apt to accomodate all.

the highlight of the event was sukaneka. all of them cooperated and i personally love most was when 'cabut undi' being held. I couldn't help but noticed ayah and mak's smiling faces. Yes, they were smiling from ear to ear.

hope to have more family trips like this in future.
