reading blogs is like reading online newspaper to me. so this morning as my usual routine, i read elisa's little i know that i have been tagged!

How many schools did I go to?
my ayah works as a settler, so unlike elisa, whose father moved a lot, my ayah stays there until now. thanks to Tun Abdul R@zak for his brilliant idea of FELD@, each settlement is equipped with tadika KEM@S and sekolah rendah. so, here goes my list of school

1. tadika felda melati

i used to be the class-monitor type (re: always want to be in charge, love love love to get people’s attention) and love singing to bits! i remembered the first song we learnt goes like this

TEPUK TANGAN SAMA SAMA (while clapping hands)
TAM TAM TAM 2X
HENTAK KAKI SAMA SAMA (stomping our feet)
TAM TAM TAM 2X
SAMA SAMA KETAWA (put both index fingers to cheeks)
HA HA HA 2X

SAYA RASA GEMBIRA...

how can i not memorize it? i sang it almost everyday !

2. sek ren felda melati

spent a good 6 years here, started wearing tudung as early as std 2 (cos that was the prefect’uniform then) though in the evening, i'd wear my skirt or pant without any head scarf :P till now, still keeping in touch with kawan dr kecik J

4. sek men convent bukit nenas

learnt to appreciate friendship (met beautiful soul, adorable humble friends for life whom some still am keeping in touch with). enjoy the relationship with my pet-sisters (one of 'em still sms/email me till now) and role model (ha ha used to admire this one kakak who always has a special place in my heart that i became to know her family members as well!)

5. mara jr sc college k terengganu

changed my whole perception towards boarding school that at one point i regret moving to mrsmkt. but in the end, i learnt that it was a process of learning and adapting to change and environment. BUT but the food was so so so good!!!! the best nasi dagang ever (my father who was from setiu agreed too!). and will never puasa sunat on Wednesdays cos the menu (from breakfast till supper) tersangat lah sedap.

Was I the studious nerd, or the last minute hero?
the last minute hero of course. but i will be attentive in class and finish homework on time.

Was I the class ‘taiko’ (don't-care-macho-attitude is what I presume it would mean in English) or the teacher’s pet?
i dunno why but i always be the teacher’s pet, even though how i hate dislike the teacher (my classmates in mrsmkt could justify this- remember the physic’s teacher?). has been class monitors, asst classmonitor, assst homeroom, student council exco. but it all stopped there in mrsm, when i went to ppp and mmu, i never want to involve in those anymore.


What was the biggest rule I broke in school?
i am a boring person, i never want to break any rule cos i refuse to think my kids will follow that mistake. am so not a risk taker, kan?

3 subjects I enjoyed
Maths – love numbers since small, i had once wanted to be an accountant

Agama – dunno why but my ustazah/ustaz always make me read quran in front of the class or be the imam while performing solat (ni kat cbn je ade kelas amali every Tuesday evening in form 2)

Science – sejak kecik suka tanya soalan mencabar minda pasal science.. mak, kenapa bulan ikut kita?


3 teachers that inspired me
En Wan Dus – a kedahan fellow who works for INTAN and taught us english tution. he has this weird english accent and pekat loghat utara when cakap melayu. he inspires me to learn english then.

Pn Omairah a devoted math and addmath teacher who allocated her life to teach us! dari tak paham addmaths sampailah boleh score spm J tapi A2 je lah :P

Pn Fatimah who is a motherly Bio teacher that inspires me to be a MD. hey she calls me dr rad!
