i joined this company about 5 years back, about 3 months after i graduated. from engineering background directly jumping to IT environment. and i've been loyal to this company till to date.
the first 6 months i was in the HQ doing systems support. from project rollout to preparing tender to changing hard-disk in RAID environment alive server, i experienced the long working hour at wee hours! much to mak & my then-bf-now-hubby horror, i survived the pressure & deliver my work. but their concern & worries became my worries too. so i volunteered to join an out-soucing project, you know more routine 8-5 work thingy @ a client's office.
i like the environment cos i work with my collagues, who are about my age. we share every little thing together and the teamwork that we created somehow pulling me to stay. the boss is understanding and things are lovely. the thought of coming to work never burdens me. monday blues struck once in a while cos hey i'm a human too :)
my boss just announced that officially our contract that is expiring this july will not gonna be renewed. actually there've been rumours about it months ago but i just hate to speculate anything. now that things is certain, that all of us going to come back to HQ. the only uncertainty is what my jobscope gonna be like? mann.. i already miss working 8-5, and oh oh my retail theraphy during lunch or after office hour.

u work for HP ke, i am currently also dealing with tenders and often have to work until long hours, luckily now due to my pregnancy ada exception just to work 9-6
good luck, buat la smyg istikarah kalau u rasa tak hepi try la cari keje lain
ida, tq for the warm wishes. i have to consider working hours that suit my role as a working mommy, and my preferences (5 days a wk thingy).will update the outcome when i know the result

am happy with the company so far cuma donno what i'll be doing if balik HQ. the worst part is because my boss is so understanding, yeah will do istikharah for sure. hehe susah nak lepaskan comfort zone sebenarnya :P
skrg ni u based dekat klcc ke ? my office collegue punye wife pun kena transfer dekat subang jugak by july/august... maybe u kenal die..kalau u transfer subang dekat la ngan rumah i, i duk subang heheh :) u duk mana ?
i work for it based company jugak but is well known in media industry...part of ministry of information tau ke ? heheheh
