yesterday was historic! after agony(okay i exaggerate :P) of 1 year-10 months-and-20 days waiting, alif (finally) could pronounce mummy!! albeit slang a bit cos he said ma-mei **smile

i'm glad i fetch him on time
i'm glad i made extra effort tapauing famous nasi ayam hainan melawati
i'm glad i didn't scold him for staining opah's rug with his favourite tau foo pa
i'm glad i gave in to his pleas kicking ball & picking up balls he threw downstairs on purpose
i'm glad i'm his mommy for every reason in the world
wah, now that he tries hard to talk, i should start revising my idgham, makhraj and all. ana, lya dah start ngaji ke? actually, i'm planning to teach him muqaddam myself, just like ibu lya, my dad & arwah tuk. tak tau lah boleh buat ke tak, i still have time to brush up but when the time comes, not sure i could cope up or not. yelah..balik dr office sure penat, jam lagi... anyway i seriously think it's a good sign. he's one observant kiddo so i hope i could mould & guide him the best. well all mommies want the best for their kids, right? so any mommies yang boleh share tips? where do i start etc etc? sharing is caring!
anyway, i've got my PC running on XP. hence the pictures. enjoyy!!
nih gamba alif naik kokong masa kat a famosa.. penat lah asyik kejar alif je, so umpan dia naik piggyride. tapi penat jugak sebab jauh sgt dari parking area. muka alif merah² sebab panas.
tuk layan alif's request, unwrap the coconut candies! see the green color thingy inside his mouth? sekali sekala je bagi dia candy treat..tanak dia addicted to sweets la konon..

if i have one later2 on, once dia leh call me "ibu" je... i'll be overjoyed with tears tau.. Kalau boleh, book some space in local newspaper and make an announcement bout it.. or or.. request for a slot in Buletin Utama.. FREAK laa kan!! Haha... For some reason, i believe, it was the greatest word ever for any mommies.. rito?
anyway, am still at office.. enjoying my work (duh!) and and.. saje la kan nak wat gempak.. dpt pc baru tu sis.. flat screen some more.. tu yang takmo balik umah..
well.. u know how bad we request for a hi-performance pc last time rite? msb dah kuar from pett baru nak bagi. Well.. lucky for me :D

When are we going to meet up rad? we missed you yesterday at yann's house. I bet alif must be much, much taller than when we last saw him.
My lil girl pun dah besar...tak berdiam! She now cries out "amaaaaa ammmaaaa" when she's distressed. *sigh* If only she could babble something else. Then I wouldn't feel so guilty if I don't pick her up.

sis elisa, arabic letters belum kenal.. i baru nak intro alif ba ta, alif je dia dah point to himself..hehe takut dia confuse pulak yg mana satu alif nih? but yeah insyaAllah, memang nak kenal as in kenal i tanak dia hafal ala hentam keromo takut bila dah masuk quran tak boleh baca lancar. iqraa helps eh? i dunno i prefer muqaddam la.. my youngest sis baca iqraa cepat tapi bila masuk quran merangkak²

Alif Ba Ta dia follow aje..tp ntah ape-ape huruf yg dia tunjuk.
sukati lah.. asal dia ade inisiatif aku dah cukup happy.x nak paksa-paksa la.. nnt dia bosan, lagik susah.
sama mcm ko, aku pilih Muqaddam - utk aku ajar. sbb skol akan ajar bace iqra'.
gud news utk aku & kamal : lya dah x pakai diapers wpun travel long distance dan dia dah tak isap puting!!! yay!!it's also a celebration day for us!!
