Baby Steps Mail: Use songs to increase Alif Firdaus's vocabulary
You will begin to notice your toddler listening more, now that he has a better understanding of language. He enjoys singing (very much!) and remembers short sentences. Children learn more quickly through play so use songs to help to increase his vocabulary.
this is alif's entry
last saturday i had a movie date with mommy & dad. mommy reserved 1pm tickets in gsc 0U to make sure i'd be then well fed and slept in cinema :P quiet a trick uh?
anyway we virtually went to Timberline watching open se@son :)
i behaved well cos i just love love cartoons :) however, after a good 30 or 40 minutes, i was asleep much to mommy and dad's relief. why? because i cannot sit still for long hours. a big thank you to chicken balls, 1901 chicken hotdog and shushu. i was not even cranky when mommy had to woke me up that she treated me with chicken rIce shop's, my fave chicken rice :) i had fun. thank you for the quality time. can we do it more often?that night pah played host and prepared chicken soup steamboat for pah mama & family. i love eating that fish balls, and juicy crab. i enjoyed dipping cuttlefish in my air sirap, which later i threw away the sotong and started sipping the sirap. euuuuuwww i know but that's how i liked it.
the next day, we decided to stay indoors cos the weather was rather gloomy and rainy. i made dad played karaoke cd, and broke 2 microphones. i love singing in case you don't know. mommy was exceptionally rajin, she made daging dendeng, vege soup and bubur jagung. i ate 2 bowls of white rice, it melts mommy's heart. i'm very good at winning her heart.
i enjoyed the weekend as much as my parents had. hope you guys had fun too :)

Ayishh!u r soo cute!u dipped sotong in your sirap drink hihi,mmg cute!-alif's mommy,i teringin nak bwk irina gi cinema since i ng hubby dah lama meninggalkan aktiviti wajib ni masa dating dulu2, but i tak confident,is this your 1st experience?aliff behave ya?good la him, bagi la i tips2 selain dr bg anak mkn kenyang2,i takut irina nangis masuk panggung yg gelap n the sound system yg berdentum dentam,aliff cool je ya?
mommamia, nope, this is our 3rd attempt.. the 1st trial masa nengok pirates of carrabean II, time tuh dia sangatlah aktif, nak panjat tangga etc etc then poo pooed, so i had to get out of the cinema. sebab tak puas hati, 2nd trial (nengok citer sama) bagi dia makan & main puas², it works brilliantly thus the 3rd attempt :)
alhamdulillah he got used to loud sound system and tak takut gelap. good luck cinema-training irina ya?!

kitorang kalu nk g layan movie tinggal anak2 kat babysitter,aci tak?..hehehe...nak kena ada gak quality time berdua-duaan:)..penah bawak aliff sekali jer nengok citer CARS,tapi aiman tak penah bawak sebab dia lagi lasak dr abangnya!
thanks alif for the tips... auntie had to wait for few months more before zikr can be cinema-training...:)

danial first experience pegi tengok wayang ngan grandparents die..we went for our first quality time tengok movie the cars, punye la die seronok, dari awal sampai habis movie tu concentrate gile. my son speaks+understand english very well so die mmg paham la movie tu...
mummy die pun enjoy movie tu
ni nak bawak danial pegi aquaria tak bawak-bawak pun lagi.
isma, tuhlah saya jarang sangat berquality time ber2, tak sampai hati nak tinggal alif la... but yeah , i miss our courting days :P wahhh aiman lagi hero dari along???
to zikr, behave ekk dear? kasik can kat parents reminiscing those dating times :P lepas ni, kasik dia nengok tv , practice cepat²
LD, wanted to bring alif to watch CARS to but then hubby was busy tak sempat. danial speaks & understands english? that's very impressive! *claps for LD
Best tak Open Season? We all konon nak catch it at I-Max, 3D. Konon la.... ntah2 this weekend beli DVD kat shoplot kat Rawang ni? hampeh! hehehe.
whoa.. ingatkan ada toilet-training je? thihi.. kira alif dh lps lesen P la ni. :)
ibu, my rating is 6 out of 10. i prefer incredibles or finding nemo. but okay for kids especially if they're so into animals :)

i ni dah berkurun tak gi tgk movie, even i cant remember when was the last time.. huhuh.
olab.. bila citer pirates of carribean II ek? about 1 yr plus la.. alah nanti ade maid, boleh layan midnite movie lagii.. (sorry to hear abt ur problematic maid)

cinema training? for sure & confirm!! cannot be applied to my Lya.. anak aku nih tak adventure la diah.. but never try lah.. tak terpikir..nnt lah tunggu dia 4-5 thn, dah paham tgk citer baru try bawak.. agaknya dia ikut perangai aku kot.. tak suka tgk movie. klu ikut peel ayah dia, kaki...
alif, meh la jln umah aunite kat sinih plak...raya sebulan..
