i was planning to create a dedicated entry for eid ul fitri wishes but had to take an EL on that very friday due to unforeseen circumstances. nway while i'm at it, wishing all muslim readers a very salam eid ul fitri & maaf zahir batin
hope your ramadhan was good and raya celebration was even better. this time of raya, alif was already good at playing ye ye ye, aka firecrackers. assisted by his male cousins, they spent their time outside @ verandah, while the tekongs were none other than their uncles!! don't worry we only played the safe ones (self-claimed anyhow) but the children had their share of fun nonetheless. i'll let these pictures to speak for themselves.
while the kids & their dads were busy burning money outside, the women were all stranded in the kitchen. i seriously thought i was inspired by cooking goddesses that i decided to try baking a choc cake!! pelik tetapi benar :P hihih thanks to my SIL#4 the outcome was edible. terasa macam nak request electric oven la pulak cewahh btw sis elisa, i tried making the easy peasy no bake cheese cake but i didn't use the complete ingredients. and yes, i assumed while mixing the gelatin.. what else did i not follow? the whipping cream was halved (tak cukup bahan la, i went to nearby town jerantut to get those but they're very limited) :( so yeah, tak jadi sangat but will try to follow the recipe thoroughly next time.

alhamdulillah, aidilfitri kali ini lebih dirasai. seronok bersalam dengan family members di pagi raya... (tersentuh hati baca entry kak teh.. syukur masih diberi peluang mengucup tangan ayah & mak, dan dapat beraya bersama hubby & alif). juga terima kasih to soy, sudi datang beraya & angkut aku berjumpa dengan nora, classmate yang dah 12 tahun tak jumpa! itulah hikmah syawal kan? boleh jumpa kawan² lama balik.. kumpul sanak saudara... syok sangat!
speaking of 'ol friend, tak sabar nak jumpa noor. also thanks to noor & shana for the raya cards. so sweet of you people :)
also had a good time meeting up with IL's relatives. punyalah beraya sakan sampai terasa kejap sangat dah start keje balik. i'm sure after this open houses invitation will fill up the following weekends. that's all for now.

bro arif, bukan baru balik haji laa (though i'm sure he longs to revisit) sejak dulu baju raya tuk alif mesti baju melayu, pelikat & serban, but since balik mekah, he prefers jubah with serban for solat eid ul fitri :)
