this morning while i was getting ready to work, i heard soft giggles on bed. naturally, i checked on alif. yes, he's still sleeping. few seconds later, he chuckled and continue cracked his laugh, like seeing something very funny. alahaiii, alif mimpi apa agaknya?
yet still his eyes were completely closed. lucky he didn't sleepwalking, not that i want him to progress to that though.
anyway
this is not the first incident. few times already, i caught him cebiking his mouth and even crying! i wonder if toddlers at his age experience or go through the same phase. MIL concerned about it, she couldn't recall her kids asyikkk mengigau like alif does. hihihi but i think he gets it from me. i remember once i was sobbing in my sleep, cos i was having a bad dream nightmare, my ayah married another woman! hahahaha the dream was more like a stereotyped drama swasta seen on TV, really.
okay for my personal record, moving on to his latest crazee
i have just started introducing flash cards to him, since he has shown a big interest on books lately. yes, there's this one fave book, nearly torn apart with lipat here and there because he always bring that book everywhere. to kitchen, in the car, on bed. it's an islamic kinda book, with 3 different languages (malay, english & arabic) and comes with a CD. and btw, he chose the book himself. at first i was reluctant to buy it cos it's for at least 4 y-o toddlers but had to give in as he's started crying in the book shop. don't get me wrong, i've been buying different types of books that better suit his age, like the caterpillar for example, or the famous Dr Seuss's ABC, but they failed miserably. alif refused to even look at them. well, maybe now is the right time or it's just the right book :) now i'm so glad he shows big love to books. (but i don't like the fact that he reads his fave book while i was putting him to sleep. takut mata rosak, dah lah parents pakai spek tebal)
what's new with bola? he's a huge fan of it. but now cars play major role in his daily life too. so being the supportive mommy that i am, i've been buying McD happy meals just to get their version of cars. hihihihi mak kenyang anak happy :) cool eh?
alif nearly perfected burung kakak tua, although sangatlahhh pelat. he'll serenade us with this song during dinner. alahhhaiii cairnyeeee :) :)
kalau pukul orang, suka cakap 'amboiiiiiiii'.. hahahaha so mak nenek :P
cooperative when it comes to consuming his medicine. just gave ubat cacing last nite.
possessive- tak suka share toys. sabar je lahh

i must confess. OI never left my babies to sleep in peace. I'd kiss and tickle and cuddle up. They look so peaceful when they are sleeping.
and...i still do it to my 16 year old!
alahai...siannya! ni mesti aliff suka main siang-siang ni...sampai termimipi-mimpi pulak malam-malam... :)
hahahah kak teh,hi-5!! same here. if alif ever woke up for his susu, i'd kiss kiss hug kiss after passing the full bottle of milk. rasa macam nak capture the moment & freeze it. kalau boleh tanak dia grow up, selfish i know :P
edyan, he's the type yang buat benda sungguh².. play hard, nangis kuat, gelak kuat².. everything max!
oh same thing happened to Aidan.. but its normal in my family.. slalu ngigau dalam sleep. Aidan will sometimes cry in his sleep and sometimes tersenyum macam having a sweet dream..
i like the idea 'anak kenyang,mommy happy' both get the benefit hihi-mommyalif,where u bought the book?sounds interesting-i nak develop irina's interest towards book pulak,and buku alif tu mcm menarik,lg pulak ada 3 languanges (esp arabic tu), my MIL baru pesan kat i,terapkan jugak islamic education awal2 ni,beli CD yg ajar doa, ajar baca alif ba ta and all,ni asik barney je hihi!
hotmama, kalau babies, org tua² kata uri baby tengah main² ngan baby.. excuse me ye..asyik² ngan org tua² or dolu² , reason being my mak nih accustom sangat dengan segala jenis petua :P so just sharing apa yang dia kata. btw for the 100th time aidan sangat comelllllll.. geramnyee! they look so angelic in their sleep kan?
mommamia, ekk buku tuh published by pustaka iman tak silap.. nanti balik i check balik ok? and yes i pon nak instill islamic values, tu yang dok beli nasyeed kumpulan alif, ALIF BA TA and baru beli CD doa from saba islamic media. belila untuk irina yang cd alif ba ta tu.. alif sukaaa sangat sebab diorg nyanyi in group and more like an exposure to iqraa la.. hihihi beli jangan tak beli
my son loves his toy cars more than books. unlike his kakak when she was his age.
tapi bila time TV-VCD-DVD, they share common interests :)
hihihi FG, the love just started je..dunno how long it'll last.
but part TV-CD-DVD tuh memang sejak kecik dia suka.. terikut parents dia lah agaknya kot heheh :P
