raya open house

as a child, i would go to every houses i passed by, hoping my duit raya would be more than any of my siblings'. today, however, i would feel weird beraya without being invited first. reasons?

well first of all, i might kacau daun. perhaps the person was already planning to go beraya themselves. or maybe the just need the time to unwind and relax.

secondly, if i called beforehand, eventhough the person was busy, he/she would say...'oo ok, datanglah..' it's just natural to be polite, kan? afterall people coming to your house brings rezeki. and of course the person would need to prepare something to welcome us. you know the feel of forcing someone? dont get me wrong, erkk i mean forcing in a pleasant way of course!

so when eza and nuha invited us over their open houses last sunday, we were delighted to come, but only if alif was feeling better ( he was down with mild fever the day before). eza lives nearby so we went to hers first. since it was already 5 when we came, most of my friends has gone back. while eating, i browsed though her wedding and holiday pictures. such a performer she and hubby, both went for oversea holidays sponsored by an insurance agency/company. syoknyeee! sales people are lucky people i tell you. but like my bro said, if not for them, how your company gonna pay you?

then, went to nuha's after solat maghrib. tak sangka jugak, at first, reluctant to come cos it was already late, about maghrib time. but hubby said ok, can go - so sampilah kat rumah nuha. one thing for sure, hubby so so love the meat balls and soup and the fried meehoon!! nuha, if you're reading this, please pass me the recipe (eceh..bila la nak try). alif too had his fun time playing ammar's(nuha's son) toys while me and nuha catching up stories. ammar was born 2 days earlier but he could not only walk but run!! and he's chatty too, started to say few words. ooh, by the way, alif too started to tatih, MIL said maybe he could walk properly in a week time. he could walk for maybe 5 6 steps now!! cute sangat :) !!

a few more open houses waiting this weekend but not sure whether can make it to all cos they are quite far apart, and squeezed about the same time, mostly saturday.
