this is last week's summary. too busy to update this blog thus the delay.
27th december 2005
-alhamdulillah, after a long time, i kept up my promise to dine with my my parents. there was no specific occassion, it's just that hubby brought me there once and i told mak i wanted to bring both her and ayah to kl tower revolving restaurant. one thing because the view was majestic, you practically could see the whole stretch of KL while eating. with an old friend's help, who works as a manager @KL tower, he squeezed a 6.30 dinner buffet for 5. mak, ayah, habib, hubby, me and lil alif came at 6 pm, were immediately brought to the observation tower by the host.
it felt funny when i located cbn and sji from above, little that i know my jodoh will be the from 'muka basi'. yelah, zaman sekolah dulu i was so busy admiring talented seniors or juniors, busy making colorful homemade cards for pet-sisters and friends. i so LOVE decorating them and waited for reply in anticipation. kalau dapat reply, boleh senyum sampai malam woo! manalah ade masa nak nengok bebudak sji. lagipon tak minat langsung lahh!
nway where was i? yes the kl tower. needless to say, when night came, the whole KL turned to city of lights. had fun looking down at the busy bee of city commuters. the weather outside was OK at the evening and better at night after a quick rain.just look at picture below.. breathtaking kan?
oh by the way, thic picture was taken by accident but i oh so love love it! while eating, i was calling alif's name to make him pose for the camera but instead he drew near to ayah, like want to kiss his tuk! so cute!! hubby snapped just on time. ta-daa!! psst...ayah seldom smile when being photographed but this picture captures the right moment, the right smile me thinks.
the food (western and malay selection) was OK. but the dessert station had variety of choices; from puddings to cakes to ice-creams!! was so happy alif behaved well till the rest of the night. although normally he refused mak/ayah hold him but he tolerated that night somehow. went back at 9.30pm cos the next day, my bro and SIL were going to mekah for hajj.

-qada' my sleep in the morning cos i took a day off. poor hubby, he didn't take annual leave so we hurriedly went back after sending off mak ayah and habib at alang's the night before. habib fetched me from home around 11 am. sleep again after lunch (haha curi tulang je kerja heh!) after asar, all gathered at the living room. bro and SIL took opportunity to say their parting words. it was a sad atmosphere , almost everybody was crying. i dunno whether it's good to cry or not ( oh but i cried !). i mean, it's a good thing they could go for hajj at young age but leaving behind 3 little heroes (5 to 1 y-o plus) who cannot really understand what's going on was heartbreaking. they happily running around with their cousins and answered ' papa mama pergi mekah...' . semoga alang n k ina sentiasa sihat di Tanah Suci, dilindungi dari segala bencana & mendapat haji yang mabrur, amiin.
