jalan-jalan: awana genting

remember this sensitive side of hubby? apparently the newly weds were so grateful for the helping hands on their wedding do, from convoy hantar belanja to making hantaran deco, to rombongan pengantin and last but not least, be the usher & usherette for the husband's reception in ipoh. well, frankly to us, that's the least we could do, lagipon kalau tak relatives yang tolong, sapa lagi kan? btw thanks to t3naga's apartment facilities, the couple decided to invite us to join them (and his family) for a short stay in @wana g3nting apartment.

it was a cozy 3-room apartment overlooking the famous @wana golf course. the rest of them went up to the g3nting park earlier in the morning while hubby and i went to work first (:p) and joined them later that friday night. since public holiday for new year fell on tuesday, both of us took a leave on monday, so all in all, we had a 4-day much needed break!

here's the highlights of the stay

- ps2 bowling session memang cool giller

- on top of our lagu wajib sering s3jalan karaoke song, the new song into our list is...... (drumroll) my h3art! hahahahah senak perut nak tahan napas nyanyi lagu nih huhuhuhuh plus suara kasar aznel bunyi lawak giller bila 'dilembutkan'. nyanyi lagu nih 20 kali confirm perut kempis, tak tipu

- mommyalif played chef:
. i prepared curry puff paratha curtesy of sis OO's recipe. the apartment was well-furnished with convection oven. so some of the puffs were nice, while the remaining were crunchy. hahahah bake-tasting session with moi. i tried combine and grill functions :p

- g3nting indoor theme park was cool though not so child-friendly. hehehe biased opinion cos we had to forgo those thrilled-rides (alif was about few cm lower then the minimum height.. bummer!)

- we just discovered that alif was gayat (afraid of heights)

- alif had fun in jacuzzi

the weather was perfect. it was cold but nice. but of course no doubt the company was even better. we had many rounds of karaoke and the champions were no other than aznel and his uncle. they conquered the microphones 80% of the time between oldies and rock ganas (namely peterpan, spider, awie, jinbara) selection :p glad everybody had fun!

this was my first stay in awana genting, and i found that it's very family-friendly. not sure about the rest of the apartments though whether they are furnished with cooking utensils and appliances. tentatively maybe we'll put this on your next binyusof getaway list. as of now, kijal is awaiting us in end of may : wink

after g3nting we continued our short break to makang-makang ikang in kemamang ehehhe will update on that later.
