Alif's extra activities

This video was taken this morning. We enrol him in swimming class for beginners @ wassa. After 2nd lesson, here is his progress

We know he loves water since small but not available to commit tight schedule for weekends. Another problem is distance , classes in shah alam is quite far from our place, what more keramat. So this hobby was put on hold for quite some time, sampailah we saw a bunting nearby jusco aeon au2, called to enquire fees and timetables; all within our budget and time. Alhamdulillah, he enjoys the class so much, and always looking forward for Sunday evening. Btw his class is held at IIS gombak 4 pm. Seronok jugak cos sometimes we just laze around , buang masa je. So now dah commit to thus class, we try to accomodate our schedule to fit alif's class.

Besides swimming , he joins taekwondo but unfortunately we never came to the session as it is held on Wed evening in his school. Maybe one day I should come and peek from afar.

sirah junjungan

malam tadi, i saw this musical play and dragged my other half to join in. kudos to the director Eirma Fatima although i must say that i was a bit disappointed with some minor things for example more emphasis should be highlighted on the kenabian Rasulullah. nonetheless i enjoyed the play, with powerful vocal projection from the casts. and to amy search, you rawks even more with your jubah and serban!

doa

sejak kecik kita kena baca bayk doa kan? doa sebelum makan, doa lepas makan, doa masuk tandas, etc.. well, esp sejak masuk asrama lagi byk exposure to doa2... kalau tak limited sgt lah.. and paling tak boleh lupa masa masuk mrsmkt, diorg suruh baca ummulkitab.. i was like.. baca apa tuh? ya allah.. rupanya surah al fatihah.. huhu saya sgt jahil..!

anyway, until today i have memorized some doas and some dah jadi amalan.. and since alif ada, kebanyakan doa yang i amalkan goes out to him. apelah sangat doa2 saya ni kan.. tapi kalau ada yang simple and berguna, silalah bagitau okeh?

doa yang i amal simple je, ayatnya pun pendek2.. itu sebab boleh hafal hahah

baca dari "inni ro aitu ahada 'asyara..." pastu hembuskan pada ubun si anak.. or bapa si anak for that matter haha

accident prone

tidak bukan saya, tetapi anak bujang saya itu. itupon sejak last week, selama ni dia seorang yang sangat careful sebab itulah naik basikal pon tak pass lagi kayuh one round! terlalu berjaga2 sangat. 

incident pertama:terkena eksoz panas dari motor cik habib

kerana takut kena marah sebab terjatuhkan motor, dia tak bagitau siapa2 pon.. the next day baru perasan..itupon sebab kulitnya sudah terkoyak and isinya sudah ternganga *ouch ouch boleh tak??

dan paling comel bila dia mintak sepupunya abg pizul utk 'lekat balik kaki saya' bila kulit yang terlekat cuma tinggal suku. huhu sangup tahan sakit tu.. even my ayah made a remark.. that he's tahan sakit but to me he's just plain scared of interrogation between him and his dad.

incident kedua: benjol sebesar telur ayam di kepala

self-inflicted injury kat sekolah , main2 sampai langgar tangga.. masa fecth semalam dah biru lebam dah dahi dia.. 

the remedy? dua2 i sapu krim gamat yang super efficient. but i guess untuk kaki kena beli vit e pulak sebab luka sangat besar. ishk..kecik2 dah simpan parut; what more after this? mintak2 dijauhkan apa2 yang tak baik...

hey i'm so glad i saw familiar nicknames in my previous post!.. thank you very much guys for your well wishes.. and may i just add, i too got lot of msgs via FB.. i guess FB now is the ultimatum medium.. the in trend nowadays uh? one of them was my housemates back in MMU days, hehe didn't know that she knows the existence or follows this blog though.

anyway for a change, shall elaborate more on alif's development this time.

so, alif now goes to t@dIka @uz@ , about 3 minutes drive from PIL's house. he started his class from 8.30 to 12.30, lunch and solat break till 2.30 ; continue agama class and ends his formal belajar at 4.30. for the last one month, i am quite impressed with his little self. he constantly talks loud to himself, especially when explaining what he's planning to do next after school. the usual will go something like this;
"dah sampai rumah, bukak kasut, makan, minum air bunga (chrysanthemum) bukak baju, bukak seluar, mandi, pakai baju, pakai seluar, solat (beginning to get excited) lepas tu TENGOK TV!"

most of the time, he follows them.. cuma kadang2 bila mood kurang elok, mula lah banyak nak bagi excuses

academic
according to his class teacher, he diligently follows instruction tapi pelik kalau kat rumah sangatlah susah nak assist dia. i perasan kids nih kalau teacher cakap punya lah nak ikut kalau mak yang cakap tak ikut pon! eeee.. macam mak dia tak pegi sekolah je :p kengkadang i tension nak ajar dia kat rumah (mak dia agak obsess jugak dgn exercise book haha) so last2 i suruh dia tutup buku.. hopefully dgn apa yg dia concentrate kat rumah is sufficient for the time being

agama
sekolah baru ni guna sistem ape entah ( i forgot already) to teach them on jawi and arabic. so i suspect alif is a bit confused cos last time dia belajar iqra' 1 sampai huruf 'ain (baris di atas = 'a) tapi sejak belajar tulisan jawi dengan cha, nga semua dia belajar.. pening kot dia.. the other day masa i revised iqra' dia sebut jim instead of ja.. entahlah i tanak dia confused.. so i stopped iqra' for now.. bukan sebab nak lepas tangan or whatever takut dia makin confuse belajar byk sgt at one time.. i hope i'm doing the right thing though

suka sibuk2 huduk (wuduk) and penatlah nak tunggu dia habis basuh kaki.. semua nak 3x.. kalau i interrupt tgh jalan, dia akan buat balik dari mula! haha OCD ke apa entah si mamat sorang ni

thanks to the ustaz, dia dah faham rukun solat, what to read (sikit2lah), the other day masa tgh iktidal sebelah i, punyalah kuat dia baca 'robbana lakal ham' aik.. jadi x kusyuk solat mak dia hahaha and masa i tgh tahiyat, mulut dia sosek sosek kengkonon dia pon tgh kusyuk le tuh.. alhamdulillah, rasa happy dapat introduce dia dengan tiang agama ni.. and semoga alif sentiasa pegang solat sampai bila2 ameen ya Allah...

dah boleh baca sifat 20, and bagitau rukun islam.. masa dia baca rukun islam ayat dia macam nak jawab spm.. huhhu good job alif! i'm so proud of you.. :)

kalau nak citer pasal alif sampai bila pon tak habis.. so ape cerita yang boleh share dengan i ? shareleh boleh kita tukar2 citer/tips kan? :)

outdated update

for the past 6 months, a lot of major changes hit me, alif and us as a family. it'll be boring to detail out everything but i would love to remember second half of 2008 as a major change phase.

the first one, my career. i had decided to take another career path after 7.5 years with a company that is very close to my heart. i remember making new friends here, friends that i would like to keep until the end of my life. hopefully the distance will only bond us stronger. i had an easy transition, from the interview session to handling in the resignation letter. i took them as guidence from God and happily moved with the flow, believing i had made a right decision. i never thought i would be that easy really :) alhamdulillah

the second one, my long awaited pregnancy. on 12/12/2008 , my GP confirmed that i was already in my 5th weeks! another good news.. masa tu rasa risau pun ade sebab semua rezeki yang dipohon Allah permudahkan satu persatu, we had been trying real hard for this second one sampaikan i pressure and was feeling a bit depressed. now i'm approaching Week 13 and so far it has been smooth, no morning sickness no backache (yet), but i swear i easily get tired. i had slowly hinting alif that he's gonna get an adik soon but since there's no bump perhaps he didn't buy the idea. takpelah slowly.. but he loves loves babies i just hope he'll be good to the adik

we travelled to beijing for 8 days just after Xmas for our 5th wedding anniversary, the 3 of us. it was my first time witnessing/touching a real snow.. and the journey was so beautiful and hopefully we can do more of these travelling in the future. i underestimated my son, he enjoyed himself so much playing snow, while i had to endure gatal2 kulit.. tak tahan sejuk.. hehe orang kampung :p

we decided to stay with PIL again for the time being since i am now working in KL.. its nothing new for all of us but alif too need to change school.. i've seen good progress academically (and bad one jugak, pandai cakap kau etc..) though usually dia liat nak bangun pagi.

so guys i hope after this i will be able to update more periodically.. kalau boleh everyday haha! this new work of mine has given an ample time for myself even during office hour.. bad bad employee haha now boleh berYM and FB jugak.. it feels good to be able to catch up with friends.. taklah asyik pikir kerja je :)

i don't know whether there are still people checking up this page but after few "pesal tak update blog?" i believe i still have good friends around who want to know my well being happenings. so guys, a big thank you !! you know who you are :p

i don't have any reason why i left this blog in haitus for a good 6 months. nak kata busy, dulu pon busy gak tapi still make effort to blog. anyway, i hope my changing the background and tweaking here and there will keep me motivated

memang ade banyak sangat updates yang now ni dah jadi outdated dah pon.. haha.. boleh ke camtuh?

gastronomic feast

hai zan... tee hee hiiiiiii *wave.. kita bertapa kat sini sebab rumah efx2 tuh dah bersawang, semak samun dan yang paling best lama2 kita tengok rumah kita kat situ dah kena lelong... erkk developer rumah yang kena lelong kot... hello to mosh too... he he elok lah semua dah aktif kat blogspot :) and thanks for coming. jemput le makan baca citer pasal kita makan :p

he he kebetulan okay.. memang plan nak citer pasal makan.. last weekend minggu makan agaknya.. hubby who was outstationed and toured the whole johor (like visit every The Bank branches... huhuhu penatnyaaa) brought back durian kampung kacuk.. nyum nyum..

guess what we had on sat morning for breakfast? hahahahha no prize guessing sebab soalan bocor.. and terus teringat zaman budak2 kutip durian belakang rumah and berebut makan durian yang sedap. and yes, time like this (musim buah) memang automatik ingat ayah who always say ayah tanam ni belum tentu dapat makan.. ini untuk anak cucu... he loves loves planting fruit trees all over the yard, salak, langsat, manggis, durian, sentul, rambai, and of course buah wajib pelbagai jenis rambutan (gading, budak sekolah, gula madu). and bila cerita macam ni, memang confirm rindu zaman budak2.. rambutan belum masak dah habis kena pau dah.. last 2 wknd balik rumah tengok merah2 dah nak dekat hitam pon ada, takde sapa pulak yang nak kait... sigh

nway back on my gastronomic entry, on sunday, my bro brought keropok losong both the dried ones and lekor.. ahhhh... seronoknya saya... :) and as a token of appreciation, i prepared grilled chicken , recipe taken from masyi but i alter here and there.. sebab her version was black pepper tapi sebab my nephews and alif , i opted and settled with mushroom.. . masyiiiiiii thank you bebehhh!

also prepared steam potato - yand di fry ngan garlic, italian herbs, butter and EVO oil.. cilok recipe from ana's nyum!! ana, as always sedap... thanks for sharing

paling gabra buat gravy rasanya, though masin sikit gravy tapi alhamdulillah ngam2 je semua.. habis.. takyah sibuk nak simpan2... alhamdulillah...

next time kita sembang pasal alif pulak.. makin byk pe'el dia.. naik rimas kadang2... till then.. take care!

okay a lil trackback..

last week, i attended a compulsary course that my division had 'selected' on my behalf. it was kinda a forced one but i obeyed nonetheless.

some background of the course..i gotta know about this course wayyyy back when i was in IT0S (it outsourcing project) with p3tr0nas. in service delivery line, it is... well, sought after because it discusses of the whole (IT) service lifecycle, from planning to designing to transitioning and last but not least to operationing.

as you can tell, the planning bit is where the ceo, cfo and senior management or consultants crack their heads thinking about the company's direction and vision, objectives etc etc.. and work on the action plans, roadmaps... they are paid huge big paychecks and naturally those salary decrease as they go down the stages..

where am i in the whole stages? hheheh with regards to current my project, we're in the 3rd phase: transition and hopefully if all goes well, operation in sept '08. yeah yeah that hints my salary too kan? so in a way, i can relate to the course, theoretically and practically.. and my current client addresses its division and function in parallel to the concept too.. so those make it a bit easier for me to comprehend the whole concept.

it is a 3 days course including exam duration..interesting course i might add because after theory classes, we're divided into different functional groups and played 'wall street' game. we need to apply what we learnt, while everybody adhering specific rules and have different objectives to achieve. it's really fun! needless to say paling kaya is the supplier, so if you have extra moolah, jadilah supplier..ie bukak bisness sendiri hahaha evening of the 3rd day, we had to sit for an hour exam, answering 40Qs.. i was really worried, i haven't sit for any exam for the longest time.. the last exam that i took was Nov3ll CNA. i admit that my rusty brain needs extra work, so i had to stay up late and revised. i would not bother to study kalau tak, but since there are penalties kalau fail... mak oiiiii... terpaksa lah sacrifice my beauty sleep kan? we finished the whole chapter in time before the guys went for jumaat prayers.

at last, the exam time.. i gave my best.. sampai pening2 pikir nak tembak apa... hahahha few Q yang i tak confident.. but deep down i hope to pass.. malas nak fork out my own money and pay back to the company... passed the

and today while having meehoon soto for lunch around 2.26pm, ekin and alfred called me to know my result.. hahahah nasib dah habis makan.. i sipped down remaining teh tarik and hurried back to the office.. alhamdulillah.... i exam.. :)

this calls for a lil' celebration (excuse excuse) :p

updates of darling alif - part 2

hahahha entah apa2.. makin sibuk training, makin rajin nak update blog.. padahal esok nak kena concentrate dalam class.. yeah, i'm on 3 day ITIL v3 training.. sangat seronok.. walaupon packed sangat schedule.. mphh that worths another entry on its own.

anyway, for my keepsake... alif dah started tidur bilik sendiri since 15 jun! good job!! the bait? hahaha green beetle lamp that costed rm39. ngeh ngeh but of course i miss my lil' boy. dia tido sangat ganaz.. kepala dia kejap kat kaki mommy.. kejap kat perut mommy.. ligat macam gasing. sekarang dia tido sorang2 elok pulak.. cuma ada lah jugak nampak terpele'ot satu dua kali..

his routine before going to sleep
1. mintak susu, put bottle in the sink
2. hug daddy.. say good nite
3. hug mommy... kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss (cos mommy made him), say good nite
4. baca syahadah
5. tossing around, belek poster mcD, peluk blanket (not necessarily in that order)
6. tidooozzz

oh btw dia selaaaaaaaaaaaaalu sangat mengigau.. anybody tau apa nak buat ek? sampai sometimes nangis2.. terpaksa i masuk bilik and tepuk2... kadang2 air mata pon keluar.. siap sedu sedan.. how eh? why?? pelik la

apa lagi ya?? ohh sekarang i tengah plan nak toilet train dia...any tips? dah banyak kali accident.. i noticed dia tak selesa bila takde diaper.. i made him pee every 30 mins.. tapi few times je success.. selalu dia kata tanak, but tak lama accident pulak.. grrrrr.. sebab urine tu najis (dan M yang sangat besar itu), tu yang buat i postpone banyak kali.. i just dont have the patience.. nak mop semua.. huhuhuh padahal dia dah pandai cakap, tapi why he refused to cakap he wants to pee? or dia tak paham the urge to pee yet? how lah to tell?? ishkk.. or maybe i shud wait till he's older? uwaaaaa diaper ngan soy milk dia memang costly.. kalau boleh save cost lah sikit... cover .. huhuhu i remember my colleague emma bought her son (nabil)batman's underwear , so kalau accident, dia frust sebab tak boleh pakai batman... i tried the same on alif.. tak jadi.. tak sedih pon seluar kecik dia basah.. though ade yang lain tapi i tak pakaikan .. so that he regret lah kunun.. tak jalan you..

apelah abang alif nih... tak malu! nyanyi pandai tapi pakai diaper...why abang alif? jeng jeng... no, he's not getting any baby brother /sister soon but especially since visiting his latest newborn cousin (15th june 332am -congrats to alang's family)he just loves to refer himself as abang alif. i told him that muiz is now called abang muiz cos muiz ade baby.. muiz ni sebaya alif.. so alif pon sure rasa challenged kot, dia pon kata dia abang alif jugak.. tapi bila tanya mana baby alif? takde he answered.. alahai sedihnya bunyi.. he's so fond of babies... jumpa baby kat luar pon he loves to play peek-a-boo and making faces just to get the babies' attention. tak taulah what if betul2 ada adik, he'll be an accomodating brother or not. tapi sometimes garang jugak! heheh kids.. macam tu lah ye tak?

naturally i use his new nickname as latest umpan. kalau tanak makan, tanak kawan abang alif lah... punyalah dia nak dipanggil with that name sampai sanggup je give in.. jahat ke kalau amik kesempatan macam ni? hehe tanak mandi, baby tanak kawan abang alif.. dan dan terus nak mandi.. huhuhuhu good job mommy...

what i had learnt from long time ago is that alif seldom wants to take no for an answer, but i need to reason or sugarcoat my instruction for him to obey.. or manipulate his latest perangai. :)

insyaAllah my next plan is to buy iqra' books for him. planning to enrol him in iqra' class... kesian macam2 alif kena belajar sekarang.. dah tambah another class pulak.. but i perasan sementara dia minat nak ikut ni, expose je lah.. kalau dia boleh cope up, bagus.. kalau tak pon takpe.. but memang i insist to instill islamic teachings and practices since he's small.. but anyway not hectic pon, ustazah comes and teaches twice a week, on one-to-one basis.. tu yang buat i suka.. sebab kalau i yang ajar (but i guna muqaddam) dia suka buat donno je.. dari i semangat sampai nak jadi marah... so baiklah bagi expert yang ajar.. moga alif terang hati, mudah terima ilmu, diberi kefahaman nabi2... insyaAllah.. ameen

updates of darling alif - part 1

i notice lately i've been neglecting my primary subject of this blog he he you see, i always plan to update his milestone or his latest crazee games, movies etc but somehow i ended up didn't write about them all, AT ALL!

so today's entry is for you.. my dear. although dah berlapuk and outdated.

what has he been up to? let's see... ( heheheh he loves saying this let's see... sikit sikit let's see.. nak pikir apa nak makan pon let's see.. )

he's very much a chatter box, albeit pelat (what's new?) i dunno why or how else i could try to help in that department. i tried stressing syllables, but in the end, alif pulak yang mengajar

SHU-SHU alif tak pelat.. mommy pelat (grin)

although pelat, he still amazed me nonetheless.. in case you're not informed, i'm his official driver to send/fetch him from school. since our quality time is very very limited, i tried to make full use of the time spent in the car.

i always make it a point to let him read ABC and later alif ba ta, moved on to nursery songs etc. so one day i decided to teach him al fatihah ( i know i know very ambitious mommy)

i made him hold my hand (mainly for him to concentrate)
i broke one ayat into some suku kata until we finished the whole surah
i remember having had to repeat siro-tol-lazi many times cos that ayat is very long :p

then after 3 days or so, i read one ayat after one ayat.he impressed me more!! tak sangka betul dia boleh ikut, and needless to say i was over the moon when finally he memorized the whole surah!! woo hoo :) alhamdulillah...

so naturally, i'm getting more ambitious lah kan? he he yes, he has now memorized an-nas as well. i'm yet to move on to other simple surah.. insyaAllah

the only funny thing after i introduced al fatihah is that he forgot how to read doa lepas makan!!.. hahahah yelah kan..sebab both started with alhamdulillah... not until i read at-amana barulah dia boleh distinguish and continue doa lepas makan.. hahaha tu pon kadang2 terbabas.. mulut dia asyik nak baca al fatihah je..

besides that, he's so into music.. fave song dia? ketahuan by m@tta .. okay maybe i contributed lil' part lah.. he knew that song from @F. tapi tak sangka dia tahu the starting .. i pon tak tahu okay.. part chorus tu i rasa most kids pon tau kan? lagu my heart and mawi pon dia layan jugak.. asalkan alif happy.. ye tak?

binyusof getaway to Awana Kijal had to be postponed as most of its clan couldn't fit the schedule. although many preparation including booking accomodation had been done earlier, we had to let go. dah nama pon family day kalau tak cukup korum macam tak 'sempurna' pulak.. insyaAllah, kena tunggu semua orang free, baby alang & kak ina deliver, k ina habis pantang, then proceed lah ke mana2 yang senang untuk semua.

actually part of me frust jugak.. i was really looking forward, sebab lama sangat rasanya tak kumpul2 and buat aktiviti2 riadah dengan binyusof yang memang besar. pon teringat betapa sedapnya kerepuk leko kemamang & sata2 & hai peng ice blended itu.. uhuhhuhu next time insyaAllah

okay, moving on to good news :) firstly, many congrats to dear hubby for his new position with a new company.. although lepas ni i makin selalu ditinggal2 but i'm praying the best to come our way.. and hoping he gonna get all support that he could from new colleagues. banyak sunnguh aktiviti new company which i'm gonna elaborate more later.. and 2nd best news...binyusof is going to get bigger!!!.. thanks to rahim & salwa.. :) they're expecting 2nd child. i'm happy for them and harap2 dapat blessing from kak ina & salwa. so pak imam usop & mak mah, they are expecting their 21st grand chil come Jan 09! murah rezeki diorang kan?.. i wonder i will ever live that long to even hold my 1st grandchild..

where was i? oh yes, activities by the new company.. the first event thay we joined was in FRIM, alif had good time bouncing on big monkey castle, as well as feeding deer, up closed with rabbits, parrots, goat etc etc merah padam muka main tengah panas.. and sekarang ni peluh dia ni aiyooo... **tutup hidung** boleh pengsan!

second event that we joined was the carnival in pasir puteh. i still went and accompanied hubby although my parents were not in kelate. he said if alif and i were not coming, he'd be lonely :P. okay okay duty calls.. so i took 2 days off and there were many unfortunate events along the way. alif was not feeling well we had to stop changing his diaper (yes yes mommy too lazy to toilet-train) cos he had diarrhea. and while he was asleep, left back tyre went flat, in the middle of cameron - gua musang strecth tu.. tgh kat atas bukit tu.. just before projek diraja lojing. first time i experience flat tyre, luckily it was back tyre, i dread to think if it was the front one.. ishk

i met masyi (my x-colleague who's now a successful domestic engineer) on 2nd day afternoon while hubby was busy in pasit puteh. she fetched us up in front of the hotel and brought us to the best eating places in KB unfortunately yati was already sampled the night we came. hehe then to new horizon but it was not opened yet.. and last but not least to tarbush which was just nearby our hotel.. heheeh rugi minyak masyi, dah le minyak makin mahal now nih!! so basically we almost tawaf KB lah hehe. the vacation details..we spent 4d 3n with cik nurul (youngest sis) in 1120 room of renaissance. cik nurul was kind enough to monitor him playing in the kiddies pool and help 'jaga' him so i had some me time reading mags :) thank you dik! btw masyi, thanks a lot yeah? heheh tak sangka jumpa n*k anis kat situ. huuhhu boleh buat meeting m3sIniaga tee hee

while i KB, sempat carik makan kat yati ayam percik (RECOMMENDED).. huhuhuhu sedap sedap.. tarbush, sri chiangmai (thai). and also breakfast kat white house (MUST TRY).. and one round of shopping kemeja batik & samping untuk hubby & fil.

i felt my badan is already expanding due to makan2 in kelate and malam ni, hubby & i will attend yet another dinner function.. huhuhuhuh makan lagi

okay, i admit, i have poor time management and thus lacking of updates :p

tis one is for juhanis, sorry only few pictures were taken, alif was quite aggresive that day i had no chance to even snap a picture with the host! dah lah bukan selalu jumpa.. hopefully puas hati ya :) punya susah nak choose pictures cos birthday boy just woke up from his afternoon nap. i sempat curi masa and here is the outcome.


look how close he was to the cake! risaaaau sgt but couldn't do much. too bad he didn't yet understand jegil mata signs. kalau ikut nearly pop out dah my eyes..sigh..


and while singing bday song for the birthday boy, hujan rahmat pun turun... nway, happy birthday alif jr! hope you love our gift :) vroooooooooooooooooommmmm!!

hehe finally finding time to update photos. as i told earlier, there were many events took place while i was in hiatus mode.

1st Annual General Meeting Alumni Asrama Semai Bakti
23 march 2008

Asrama Semai Bakti refers to 4 semi-boarding hostel caters for FELDA settlers and officials' children who get good grades in UPSR & PMR but unfortunately not lucky enough to enrol in boarding schools. There are ASBKL, ASBTAR, ASBKJ and ASBJB with selected daily schools for the students to compete with urbanites. Until today, I count my blessings to be chosen as one of ASBKLians and especially had the priviledge to go to such a reputable school as CBN. Owing that and for the fact wanted to give back to the asrama, I attended the 1st AGM that was held in Dewan Merak Kayangan having the FELDA president T@n Sri Yus0f N00r to officiate the alumni. However the crowd was only so-so but I saw few familiar faces :)

While I'm at it, Bond's (SPM92) will organize a BBQ makan2 on 18th May 2008, venue TBA. Any x-asb who comes across this blog, can leave your message and phone number so that I could include in the attendee' list. hahahah ade free add le pulak...

Personaly, I wanted to meet Ibu Aisah, heard that she was coming, but alas didn't see her but I was told later that she was not feeling well. And looking forward to meet Kak /Ibu Narimah too but again I guess luck was not on my side. I remember queuing at the office to meet Ibu Aisah, she was the banker then. Even to withdraw rm20 pun kena interrogate and reminded of the parents yang penat lelah kat ladang. huhuhu Thanks so much guys, you made our life so much better. Not until we became wiser that we realize the good deed you bestowed upon us. Jazakallah..

Uniquely Singapore

Everytime watching animals and uniquely singapore ad in the telly, alif would instantaneously gets excited, sometimes beyond ecstatic, jump up, sing and dance along. and without fail, he would tell , alif nak tiger.. alif nak tiger please.. so one day hubby decided to take both alif and I to go visit night safari. would love to explore the zoo next time. it was a short trip, mainly to grant alif's wish. alhamdulillah, semua dipermudahkan, we went there by train. so kelakar sangat bila at 4 am, he woke up, selak curtain and innocently asked "dah malam lagi?" heheh yes his ayat all tunggang terbalik, i guess i'm guilty for that. until now you can see my entry all pusing2 hehe probably alif was too excited to naiktrain. his 2nd time actually , the first one when he was merely 1 ++ so I bet he couldn't remember at all. another thing that fascinates him is bus. ya allah.. sibuk nak naik bus nak naik bus. at last, dapat jugak alif naik bus. he seems to enjoy the bus rides more than train or erl. you one funny lil guy lah alif :P

admittedly it was a tiring and a bit rushing trip but i enjoyed every moment nonetheless. and many sweet memories for our family unit. alif, next time we go again okay sweetie? love to see your lively face though sometimes you couldn't see the animals in the dark. haha a good practice for your eyes really. and funny how you were so scared of the statues including the famous wajib-amik-gambar-merlion-spot. huhuh yes, i have videos as proofs darling. wait till you're big enough to laugh at your own self. tee hee

what is jalan2 without makan2? i sampled mutabak singapore in arab street and yummylicious lontong padang style somewhere in Kallang station. sedap seeeeeeh itu lontong.. sampai sekarang dok teringat. hahah alif sempat buat kawan kat situ and sempatlah i exchanged email add and phone number dengan the parents. cuma tak syok sebab tiba2 i asyik terikut style diorang cakap. kasi bungkus lontong sedap satu!

okay i guess that's all for now, next update will be Ulu Yam picnic and roslinda's son (alif) 2nd birthday celebration.
